North Shore businesses unite for the 2nd Annual “Win A Prom Makeover” Contest
In an effort to foster positive self-awareness among teens, Gwen Rich, founder and owner of IMAGE Inside & Out, will again sponsor the “Win a Prom Makeover” for 2010. Entrants to this exciting contest for teens residing in the communities of Deerfield, Highland Park and Lake Forest, must submit a 500-word essay on the subject of why they should win the “Win a Prom Makeover” contest.
The purpose of the event is to help ONE girl in each of the above-mentioned communities to feel special about Prom this year, with many wonderful and lasting memories.
Each of the three winners will receive a complete wardrobe for this year’s prom, including personal grooming. “This contest is a life-changing event for each of the winners,” says Ms. Rich, adding that, “Every girl has her own story to tell. One girl may dream of being the belle of the ball, while another may simply want to attend her senior prom without causing a financial drain on her family.” No doubt, this once in a lifetime experience will increase the self-esteem and confidence of each of the winners.
